LTC Diversity Committee
Mission
The purpose of the Diversity Committee is to provide input, support, and leadership to accomplish college initiatives and goals related to diversity.
2009-2010 Goals:
- Support Minority Recruitment and Retention
- Promote, support and participate in international education activities.
- Facilitate faculty, staff and student achievement of diversity competence to establish a climate where everyone feels welcome and all are prepared to succeed in a global economy and multicultural society.
- Build and strengthen reciprocal relationships with multicultural, GLBT, and other diverse communities in the Lakeshore Area.
- Develop diversity leadership through expanded diversity offerings and community outreach.
