Grant Writing – How to Get Started

Learn the basics of finding appropriate grant opportunities, developing quality proposals, and winning successful grants. The grant writing workshop will cover:

  • Grant vocabulary
  • How to get started (identifying needs, researching funding sources, key points in request for proposals, and timeline)
  • Proposal components (needs statement, goals and objectives, activities and outcomes, evaluation, budget, and abstract)
  • Submission (deadline specific and final proofing)
