LTC offering Workplace Spanish for Healthcare course

Lakeshore Technical College is offering Workplace Spanish®  for Healthcare, a program designed for medical and dental professionals to learn job-specific terms and phrases in Spanish.

The goal is for participants to learn to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking patients to treat illness and injury and process medical transactions.

The eight-week course covers basic expressions, office-related interactions and medical terminology. Week seven focuses on dental terms and week eight features medical terminology; however, all participants are invited to attend both weeks.

The classes will be held Mondays from March 3 to April 21, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Manitowoc County Training Room in the Lakeshore Building at LTC’s Cleveland campus.
