MODULE 1: THE BASICS OF ONLINE LEARNING

Note: Please do not send us Microsoft Works documents, we cannot view them. You can send Microsoft Word, Corel WordPerfect, or rich text files (.rtf).

First open your Word Processing Program, then copy this page into your word processing document, complete the third column, and return via an email attachment to: online.courses@gotoltc.edu

BASIC PRINCIPLE GUIDELINES PERSONAL GOAL
    Exercise/Assignment:
In this box, write 2-3 specific goals of how you expect to achieve the basic principles.

High degree of personal motivation and self discipline

  • You may miss encouragement and mutual support from a traditional course
  • It is easy to become uninterested and disengaged
  • Must plan a schedule to stay motivated
  • Discipline yourself to complete assignment

  • May require a greater time investment than traditional class
  • Must discipline yourself to read, study, research and think
