Computers—can you imagine life without them? So much of what we do, whether at work, at home, or somewhere in between, depends on the use of computer information systems. If you enjoy using various operating systems, learning all kinds of software applications, doing some programming, troubleshooting hardware and software, and helping others learn to use technology and information systems, a career as a computer support specialist may be the perfect fit for your high-tech talents.

Career Outlook
Opportunities are expected to increase as organizations continue to adopt increasingly sophisticated technology and integrate it into their systems. Job options should be best for those with up to date skills and technologies, as well as good interpersonal and communication skills.

Schedule
Varies–Program courses (IT only) offered evenings, 2 nights per week. Depending upon credits, the courses may be 2, 6, or 8 weeks in length. Some classes are offered in the blended format so that one night per week is in class and a second night is online.
