Adjunct Faculty – Health & Human Services
Employment and Work Schedule
Adjunct Faculty positions are available for the following programs and require the following qualifications:
| Administrative Office Procedures | Must be a Certified Medical Assistant with 14,000 hours (7 years) of recent related occupational experience (including front office experience) or have an Associates Degree with 3.5 years of recent related occupational experience (including front office). |
| Nursing Assistant Program | Registered Nurse licensed by the State of Wisconsin. Two years or more of recent experience in a long term care facility is required. Home Health Care experienced is desired. |
| Medical Assistant – Administrative | Four thousand hours of recent experience in Medical Office management required. Higher Education in a health care discipline required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Competence needs to be demonstrated in such areas as billing, purchasing, medical record management, managed care practices, third party reimbursement and coding. |
| Medical Terminology | Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s degree preferred in a health care discipline such as Nursing, Radiography, Clinical Laboratory or other. One semester in a college level basic anatomy and physiology related course. College level Anatomy and Physiology preferred. Two or more years of recent experience in a health care discipline or teaching in a health care discipline required. |
| Body Structure and Function | Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s degree preferred. Have at least a minor or twenty semester credits drawn from the recognized science disciplines of Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, or Microbiology. One or more years of recent teaching experience required. |
| Radiography | Registered Radiographer. Two or more years of experience in the field. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in Special Procedures preferred. |
| Pharmacology | Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4,000 hours of recent related occupation experience required. Must be a pharmacist or a registered nurse preferably with Pharmacy experience. |
| Phlebotomy | Must be a Certified Lab Technician with Bachelor’s Degree and two years of recent related occupational experience or an Associate Degree and 3.5 years of recent related occupational experience. |

Job Description
Provide instruction to students in day, evening, and weekend courses.
Responsible for placing learning first and providing educational
experiences for learners in various formats, schedules, and in various
places in accordance with the mission of the college inclusive of:
facilitating learning, assessing student performance, as well as
instruction and outcomes, developing and maintaining current/relevant
course materials, and communicating with the community, other schools,
the college, the division, and team members.
