Continuous Quality Improvement
Accreditation
LTC is accredited through the Academic
Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) of the Higher Learning Commission; a Commission of the North Central
Association of Colleges and Schools. The U.S. Department of Education
sets policy and oversees the accrediting associations. NCA is one of six
regional associations that provide institutional accreditation. NCA assesses
formal educational activities and evaluates governance and administration,
financial stability, admissions and student services, institutional resources,
student learning, institutional effectiveness, and relationships with constituencies.
Accredited through 2015

Program Accreditations
Several of LTC's occupational programs are accredited by a professional
entity or approved by a State agency.
Process Improvement
The Process Improvement Model empowers cross-functional teams to improve
processes, solve problems, and make decisions that impact students,
staff, and College operations.
Quality Review Process
The Quality Review Process (QRP) was developed to evaluate educational
programs, apprenticeships, basic and general education in the Wisconsin
Technical College System (WTCS). This
program review process is used for all programs at LTC with evaluation
rotation on a five-year cycle. The process includes an in-depth self-study
component (qualitative), scorecard analysis (quantitative), and improvement
plans.
LTC Philosophy
Quality is inherent in everything we do;
not just a requirement for accreditation.
Quality at LTC
Quality is achieved at LTC through its People, Process, and Plan.
